Coastal Wonders explores 18 extraordinary homes across New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific, including multiple award-winning properties. Hosted by architect Tom Webster, the series takes a fresh perspective on the house and home genre, exploring how the spaces we live in can influence our wellbeing, happiness and health.

Along the way, Tom investigates our connection to the coast and the powerful effect of blue spaces on our lives, while asking how we can protect these environments for the future. In each episode, Tom also uses a consumer-grade EEG device to measure his excitement, engagement, stress and attention as he experiences each home — a personal research project exploring what patterns emerge across these very different spaces. Coastal Wonders invites us to think about our homes not simply as buildings, but as experiences that can shape how we live and feel.
